Napa Wine Company will begin a new program offering organically grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from our Oakville Vineyards for home winemaking.  Special designated areas of our Rock Cairn Cabernet Sauvignon and Lincoln Creek Merlot Vineyards have been set aside for this limited space program.

Our Rock Cairn Vineyard was planted in 1984 with ~ 26 acres of AXRI rootstock and Wente clone Cabernet Sauvignon.  It lies east of Highway 29, and north of the town of Yountville.  This vineyard is rooted in the famous loam soils of Oakville producing a richly structured and powerful wine.  Nickel and Nickel Winery use this vineyard to produce one of their single vineyard wines.

Our Lincoln Creek Merlot Vineyard was planted in 1996 with ~ 25 acres of St. George rootstock and Wente clone Merlot.  It lies north of the Rock Cairn Vineyard.  This vineyard is rooted in a gravely loam soil; it produces wine with strong fruit flavors and medium tannin.  Nova Wines, Inc. who produce the “Marilyn Merlot “brand use this Vineyard for some of their blend.

For the average Napa Valley price per ton (for that variety from the previous vintage) fee (that is $3,797.63 for 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and $2,628.87 for 2007 Merlot), clients will experience the following:
