List of Wine Grape Sellers for 2002 Season

Our goal is to list grape sellers that are willing to sell small quantities of grapes, usually as low as 100 lbs, to winemakers.   This does not mean the grape sellers won't sell large amounts.  Generally speaking, larger quantities may yield a better price. The quality and/or growing region of the grapes will have a large influence on the price.  We try to list vineyards as close as possible to the San Jose bay area but with grapes in high demand the range has expanded.  

Please let us know by e-mail if you find any information incorrect or obsolete.  It is free to be listed and we are in no way recommending or endorse anyone on this list, just providing the list of grape sellers.  We will take someone off the list if we get repeated complaints about the grape quality or related issues.

Fermentation Solutions is not responsible beyond providing this list of grape sellers. A listing here is not an endorsement.  You should determine whether the quality, price and availability of these grapes meets your needs. Some vineyards pick the grapes, crush and press for you and many don't.  Be prepared by knowing what needs to be done by you and what equipment and supplies you will need.  Plan at least to have yeast, sulfite and containers ready before picking up your grapes or juice since winemaking supply stores may be closed that day, usually Sunday.  

The most recent additions are added at the top of the list and have the greatest prospect of not being sold out.  Grape sellers further down the list are still viable sources but are more likely to be sold out earlier and may not have current information unless the posted date is updated for the current year.   

To Add a Wine Grape Seller to the List.

By e-mail provide the following information.

1. Name of seller or person to contact.
2. Phone numbers. Local San Jose bay area numbers and vineyard numbers if possible.
3. City or region the grapes are grown in.
4. Type of grapes available.
5. Mailing address if available. Not to be included in the list.

We do not list prices, harvest date or similar information since it changes to quickly.
