Fermentation Settlement - Recipe Ingredient Beer Kits.

The following recipe kits contain individual fresh ingredients for brewing 5 gallons of beer. These kits are easy to brew but we recommend beginners first brew a couple of the Hopped Malt Extract Kits to become familiar with the fermentation process. The recipe kits have evolved by customers continually requesting our custom designed recipes. We have limited our recipe kit selection to the best as judged by our customers. Simply put, the best recipe in each category with separate pre-measured ingredients in an easy to use compact recipe kit box. The quality and freshness of the kit ingredients are essential. Equally important is the ease of step by step brewing process. These kits are good because they include at least one or more flavoring (specialty) grains. Grains contribute a unique fresh character to beer. Different types of grains are used in each kit to create the various styles of beer. The grains are easy to use because they pre-measured and already cracked by a roller mill. Two or three separate pre-measured hop pellets packages are also included in the kits. Hops give character to beer. Each hop variety adds its own unique hop flavor. The more hop additions in each kit, the more complex the hop character. The malt extract syrup included provides the base flavor and generates the alcohol while the flavoring grains add the complex color and flavor the beer. The brewing process for all of the kits is similar. Once learned, you can apply it to your own recipes.

Alexander's pure malt extract is used exclusively in our kits. It is made from 100% malted barley. We package it in a poly pouch to preserve its freshness and exposure to air. The malt is easily removed from the pouch by cutting one of the corners and squeezing.
1 Cup of corn sugar for bottle carbonation is included in each kit.
The kits are listed in order of light to dark beers.
The ideal temperature range for the Ale yeast is 65-75 degrees and 55-65 degrees for the Lager yeast.
Each kit can be upgraded from the dry yeast to liquid yeast.

Honey Lager 5307F	The honey in this recipe allows it to have a light but malty body. It is a hoppy beer. A close clone ot Pilsner Urquell.

No Fail Pale Ale 5306F	A full bodied light-amber pale ale style. The hops have a pleasing flavor and mild bitter aftertaste unlike the aggressive bitterness of many pale ales.

Red Ale 5312F	A full bodied light-amber red top fermented beer. A slight astringent flavor from the munich malt is balanced nicely with the hops. The brewing hops add a pleasant, less aggressive bitterness then the IPA's.

A Little Cin (Marzen) 5302F	"A little Cin" beer is a rich malty beer based on a Marzen recipe. The slight cinnamon flavor enhances the aromatic qualities of the hallertauer hops.

American Brown Ale 5301F	Cara-munich Malt gives this beer a caramel like sweetness while the Chocolate gives it a nice dark slightly burnt taste. American Brown Ales have a higher hop level than Traditional Brown Ale.

Dunkelweizen 5322F	Wheat contributes to the fruitiness of this highly effervescent dark beer. The black malts darken the beer color and add a chocolate like malt flavor that balances nicely with the German style hops.

Stellar Stout 5310F	"Stellar Stout" is deep black full bodied beer. The roasted barley gives it a dry flavor. The flaked barley produces a brown foamy head which is pleasing in this type of beer.
